This is the ideal month to plan your training requirements for the year ahead.

This session will help you complete a strategic training needs analysis that will both support your staff and your business during these challenging times.

This introductory programme is aimed at all business owners and managers who may recognise the need to invest in learning, training and development of their people and may not know what to do or how to do it effectively.

The programme is based on the Skillnet Ireland Learning Needs Analysis Guide and will share expertise, knowledge and awareness with participants of WHAT and HOW to identify training & learning needs (TNA) in their businesses.

Training Objectives

At the end of this training the participants will;

  • Understand systematic training and the importance of effective Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
  • Know the 3 types of information required to carry out an effective TNA.
  • Be able to carry out a practical TNA at individual level.
  • Be able to prioritise the training and learning needs that arise from the analysis and present it in a useful format for a learning, training and development specialist.
  • Know where to access additional resources to assist with TNA.

This training will be delivered remotely over Zoom.

Utilising a blended learning format, the training make maximum use of the participants time on the day without the need for an excessive presence on zoom.
